The webinar agenda that you cannot miss

In Factor we start the year with a new agenda full of webinars with the latest news in the environmental sector. During the months of January and February Factor will participate in a series of digital conferences on key issues on sustainability in collaboration with different organisations, from the European Commission to the World Bank.
We start on the 27th of January with the webinar "European Climate Pact: the challenge of businesses for a zero-emission future", a satellite event of the European Climate Pact initiative. In this event we will have Asier Sopelana as speaker from Factor who will talk about the vision and strategy for companies within the new European roadmap of zero emissions. Katerina Fortun will be representing the European Commission , as accompanied by Xabier Arruza from Bilbao Urban & Cities Design and Alejandro Martínez, Director of Health, Sustainability and Quality in Strategic Marketing in Eroski. The World Bank's Energy Sector Management Assistance Program has invited our Country Manager in Mexico, Miriam Macias, as a speaker at the "Powering Climate-Smart Agriculture" webinar, which will take place on the 27th of January. The webinar will focus on a discussion among the four guests on how to identify opportunities in this sector and how to design, implement and monitor activities to scale up agricultural uses of electricity. Finally, on the 10th of February, our Senior Consultant, Marta Suanzes, will participate in the webinar about LIFE projects to support municipalities in Adaptation to Climate Change, organised by the Office of the Compact of Mayors of the Region of Murcia. During the presentations, the members of the teams of the three projects, LIFE GLA, LifeAdaptate and LifeHeatland will detail the activities and methodologies implemented, problems faced during their implementation and the results obtained in the end. Factor will present the LIFE Good Local Adapt project, a research project on the processes and solutions needed for city planning, building restoration and new urban regulation in the Basque municipalities of Amurrio, Balmaseda and Legazpi.
