Academic of the Faculty of Sciences of the National Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM, where she teaches economics with a focus on climate change and sustainable development. She has extensive experience in programs, projects and consultancies that carry out actions related to climate change and sustainable development, standing out in the areas of renewable energy, efficient use of resources, waste utilization, GHG mitigation, risk management, gender and agri-food production. She has knowledge in planning, preparation, design and operation of programs with the participation of international organizations, monitoring, evaluation, development and training. 

Spanish is her native language and she is fluent in English.
