His professional career is focused on carbon markets and climate finance, both nationally and internationally. In Europe, Iker coordinates Factor's market division and conducts allowance trading transactions for a broad base of industrial clients. At the international level, he is involved in the area of consulting, leading market mechanism design projects for international organizations and developing economies. He has collaborated with organizations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the World Bank (WB), the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
