The team of Factor, represented by Kepa Solaun, Partner and CEO, and Florian Eickhold, Project Manager of Factor Germany, is in the city of Katowice (Poland) attending COP24, on behalf of the Basque Environment Cluster (Aclima).
The main objective of the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP24) is to define measures to combat the phenomenon of climate change in accordance with the provisions of the Paris Agreement. These measures seek to ensure the full implementation of the Agreement.
The COP24 hosts two major international events. The first is the evaluation of the financial framework for climate protection, the Green Climate Fund. This fund assesses the progress made by developed countries in fulfilling their commitment to mobilize $100 billion annually by 2020.
The second is the Talanoa Dialogue, where there is a joint reflection on how the Parties should jointly achieve the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
Factor has been providing ideas and services on climate change for more than 10 years, through an extensive international network of offices and collaborators.
On the other hand, Aclima has a history of more than 20 years as a benchmark in the environmental sector in the Basque Country.
