Energy audits at the IFC
- International Finance Corporation (IFC)
This project involved conducting energy audits in different offices of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) aiming at identifying, analysing and evaluating measures that would allow us to reduce energy consumption and the energy costs associated with it. These measures will increase the sustainability of the offices and will be prioritised according to the savings desired (energy and economic). The audits were divided into three stages: launch, information gathering and visit of the plants, and energy analysis.
The scope of the project included various IFC offices in Lima (Peru), Istanbul (Turkey) and Johannesburg (South Africa). Among other aspects, each study included a review of the energy-consuming systems of each office, initial identification of measures (operations in the facilities and offices, awareness and training) and the technical and financial analysis of each measure.
